Lynne (Lynnette)'s Story

Life *It's 2008 and Wayne and I have been enjoying our retirement. We travel a lot. This year we were in Atlantic City in January to see a group called "Six" that we'd seen last year in Branson MO. Then in Feb. we went to Hilton Head for a couple of weeks. In April it was Newport, RI and in May we took Doug, our younger son with us to Gatlinburg, TN and Ocean City, MD, where our older son Mike joined us with his dog, Hiro. In June we explored Cape Cod, MA and in July we stayed in North Carolina for a few weeks. August found us back in Branson, MO, where we saw 10 shows and didn't make a dent in all the ones we wanted to see. We'll definitely be going back. BTW our Labradoodle, Hollye, accompanied us to TN, MD and MO and will be with us for 2 weeks in GA in November. S...Expand for more
o you can see, it's been a crazy and fun year. Best news of all! We're going to be grandparents in Jan. or Feb. '09. Can't wait! *(2006) Hey!Hey! I retired at the end of the 05-06 school year. Retirement is great! Wayne and I spent 6 weeks during December and February in FL, NC and SC. While it was snowing in NJ, we were basking in 70 degrees. Our two boys are now juniors in college. Mike is in Barton College in NC and Doug goes to Stockton State in NJ. We've lived in Vernon, NJ for the last 19 years, after leaving Union City. *(01-02) I've been teaching in Union City for 30 years, 17 at UHHS. I'm now the ESL head teacher. I married Wayne Potente, Class of 66, and we have 2 boys, Michael and Douglas. Michael is a HS senior this year and Douglas is a junior.
